Anybody can publish. You need not be a self-published author (as though that were a
sin). Self-published writers apparently pay to be published. Some of the best self-
published: Hawthorne, Hemingway, and Hardy.
The web is better than boxing.
There’s plenty to read.
For the time being, the morons who constantly need moving pictures aren’t in complete
control.
It’s cheap.
It’s not monopolized.

You can find places like Triond, home to some fine writers. Triond is like the Iowa
Writer’s Workshop, but slightly different. First, it’s not in Iowa. Second, Triond pays a
bit.
