Fortitude is a Great Writing Site
If you want to write about what you’re passionate about, Fortitude is a great up-and-coming site to try and get paid good money for your efforts.
I enjoy a variety of writing sites to try out, and I recently stumbled across an online magazine site called Fortitude. I’ve only been with this site for a few days, and have learned quickly the potential for making real money.
What makes this site different is 1)you have to pay to join the site ($1.99 a month) and 2) you can submit anything you’d like, including poetry, opinions, and rants, and 3) you can get paid a huge amount for just one article that hits their front page. A front page article (apparently they choose at least one article per day for the front page) makes between $10 and $100! 4) there are no editors, the articles are ranked by other writers of the site to get yours on the front page.
So I decided to give Fortitude a try, based on the payout potential and the fact that I could write anything I’d like. If you like to write and produce quality articles, odds are, your article could hit the front page. Since the articles are all rated by your fellow writers, the incentive to get people to rate other articles is they are paid $.05 for every review. You can’t review articles if you have one in review yourself, but it’s a great way to make up for that small monthly fee (which I thought was odd, but hey, I joined anyway).
You have the potential of earning a lot of money without producing a lot of articles on this new site. It’s only been around since June of this year, so it still doesn’t have a lot of writers yet, which means less competition for the front page. I would give it a shot. Check it out for yourself. You could make $10 or $100 per article, or you could make squat, but at least give the site a try.
