Improve your writing

Feature My Book?

Have you tried to publish your writings? Have you been denied? Then you will enjoy reading this.

What is wrong with being an author?  It maybe that we are just misunderstood, a way for those “cool” people to have someone they can slap around and laugh at behind their backs. They probably think; “What’s the use of me working my life away to make a dollar, and yet all they have to do is write an idea.”

Stephen King, is allowed to write stories that have the lords name used in vain, blood, guts, Sexual acts, and even psycho-manic killers. Disney (the cartoon company for kids) is allowed to draw  the word ‘Sex’ in the clouds of the movie ”The lion king”  And even Joanne Kathleen Rowling (A.K.A. J. K. Rowling) Is allowed to write that Albus Dumbledore is ‘gay’

But, if we were to write a single book, with the word “Masturbation” in the text, it would probably get a reply of something of this manner; “Your Book has been reviewed and deemed unsuitable for featuring. There are many reasons we may decide not to feature a Book and we are unable to enter into discussions on why, we just receive too many requests. Sorry!” Then you know from these words it is a simple way for the publisher to tell the author; “Your book needs work. It’s not bad, but it could use a little cleaning up in some parts.”

I have been told many times by my friends; “if Stephen King, J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, or any of the big time authors had started out on a writing site or self published, than they too would be mocked, disgraced, slandered, and cast out.”  The only explanation that comes into mind is; people hate new things, things that they think is “Hellish”  As long as people find humor or pain in something they will like it. If it has both they will watch/read it over and over. Sexual material is one to which people will watch/read, and even do them selves. As long as it’s in their state of mind.

If we were to write a 300 page book on the best way to have sex, people would buy it. Simply because of the title on the cover. However, if we were to a book about sex done in a Wicca, Pagan, occult, or any means of unreligious  ways they would slander your name, and they will do everything in their power to stop you from writing another word.

What makes the reader judge the author? If you write about something and show the world your writing, there are going to be those “Ass-hole people” Who take everything to latterly, By saying; “They wrote me into their story and did horrible stuff to me.”  Which may not be the case at all. Then others will call you things like “Pedophile” if you write about rape, “a Damned American” If you compare your writings with someone other then American writers.
