Everybody Can Write and Why You Should Do It

We can all learn to hold a pen, put some things on paper. Here some motivations why you should write.

The least educated person might have a hidden talent. Most likely it might not be discovered, unless somebody teaches this person, but we can all write.

I do not mean we will all produce top selling world literature. Leave that stage out for the moment. This is another topic.

So everybody has the mental ability to express and most will be able to read and write, so expressing by written word is in our reach.

Many of us might find writing a great therapy. Keep a diary. Do not look down on it.

What to do with your content? Well, that is personal. You may like to keep it for yourself. Nobody tells you that you should publish your content or all of it.

Not all are willing to become published writers. Do not push people to publish work they do not feel well about. Let people keep their private diary. No need to edit and correct it, it is just for the private use of one person and for some writing down emotions and burning the paper might be a form of release.

I did that for ages, but felt unsatisfied. I wanted to share my feelings, my emotions and to get published, at a certain level. If you are like me, I would say: go ahead, but keep in mind that if you want to read, writing can become harder.

If you share your work, you need to look at it differently. Your feelings, thoughts, emotions, words, expressions and so on, will become public domain. You do give up some of your privacy. Consider this, because you are not alone in your life.

What you write can be held against you. So keep some ethics and also consider your writings as a product you need to sell.

Yes, your expressions become art and inspiration for others. Keep that in mind. Also look at your language.

You do not need to be a linguïst to write. I already explained. Believe me, I would also be nowhere without spell checkers. Most writers are lost without the right software.

Why? As you may guess: writers that like to be published are real passionate people in most cases, even if it is just about their writing. You work on the story, article, poem or whatever to be read, but you create both ways: content and style, next to grammar and spelling.

Many writers get hooked on their content. That is what they create. The spelling and grammar rules are their bound. They are made as a tool for them. So do not look at writers when it comes to grammar rules, since they did not invent that. Same for spelling: you may know what has to be there and read over your own typo several times.

But some might find it more interesting to share their view. I would say: do not hesitate to publish on line. I also started Triond with the idea: I’ll give it a try.

To be honest: I considered it some kind of blog site when I subscribed. I did not even know it was a publishing site. Yeps, I came a long way the last couple of months.

If you want to start writing, please join. You will never know if you are a worthy writer to publish, unless you try and Triond is a great way to start.

Do not start thinking of payment. This takes years before you might write anything earning. If you do not like it, or if you do not feel pleased about it, you lost nothing, but you cannot blame yourself for not trying.

If you really like to stick writing for yourself, don’t mind. But keep writing if it makes you feel better.

Well said. Triond provides an excellent place to publish your thoughts – and everyone has them! Writing for some people is therapeutic and should be encouraged.
