Erin Miller and Me

Erin announced that, after making a tough decision, my story Lip Service was the winning entry. My prize is the joy of co-writing an anthology with this talented, artistic Jill-of-all-trades, of our short stories.

I deserve to be congratulated, I think, because when Erin decided to run and sponsor a short-story contest back in January, I entered one of my own tales, in hopes that it would pass muster with her – and since she already has several books to her name I think she must be qualified to pass judgement.

On the deadline date – which had been extended to February 13th for late entrants – Erin found that there had not as many entries as she would have liked, though other triond writers like Alchron, Colleen+Hazeldine and Marqjonz, as well as some facebook entries had to be considered.

She announced that, after making a tough decision, my story Lip Service was the winning entry. My prize is the joy of co-writing an anthology with this talented, artistic Jill-of-all-trades, of our short stories. There are to be twenty in total – ten from each of us – and I find the whole idea very exciting.

Obviously, it may be a week or two before Erin has finished writing her stories, but we will both, I am sure, be keen to get this deliciously inviting volume of fiction out ASAP, when it comes to sampling from the menu of available writing on the web, this fiction feast of ours will certainly satisfy the most demanding appetite.

I also have two short story anthologies out of my own –  “Dancing with the Devil and Other Twisted Tales.” – which Erin has bought and reviewed as being pretty  damn good. My  second e-Book is “Eternity and More.” – a science fiction collection she intends to buy shortly, probably by going to my AUTHOR PAGE on Amazon  http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B006IYVA1K

Erin wrote of me that I write articles promoting fellow artists from around the globe and science articles so interesting that  even her 17 year old brother reads them, especially loving those about nanobots. She says that I deliver the science articles she craves, as well as articles about creative people creating art that  is absolutely breathtaking.

According to Erin, one article where the artist had literally become one with her paintings was truly amazing whilst another was someone making art from what average people consider garbage. She finds it definitely worth reading my articles not only for some science education but for some artistic culture as well, because I always have something new to write about, and that makes my work even more interesting for any discerning reader.

It was very gratifying to win the competition I grant you, but even more exciting to think that soon, this joint venture will be giving birth to yet another book well worth every penny to the buyer, full of fantastic fiction, broad imaginations and wondrous scenarios. Be sure not to miss out on this brilliant bargain book when it appears.
