Improve your writing

Editorial Day

Looking at some older articles, made me realize I did improve. Also I notice that some articles I read, might need a new twist. I am looking at my articles and seeing which keep getting traffic, despite the fact they are horribly written and might need a polish.

My first article does not draw traffic anymore.  It was no good and I am just going to keep it that way, as a reminder of how I started. Some informative articles that might not need my own story, might get a twist. I have bio articles and I going to keep them that way.

No whining, just info. That will make some articles better. In the main time I edited my poems, but not on Triond. I will keep the rough drafts here, but publish the rest on Lulu. If you like my poems, buy them. This will earn me more than here on Triond. Nobody will be forced to it, but I will work on some poetry bundles. Poetry might not be the main thing to put on line.

Editing also takes some inspiration. I decided some of my early crap articles that do not contribute anything to a great portfolio, might just be deleted. Those that might contain great info and keep getting readers, will be edited when I have feel like it.

What you scratch, makes you great, some writers say in my region. Compact writing is more appreciated in Europe and I know that if I get a job, I might not have the time to be overly productive anymore.

Some of my short stories will also get and edit in time. I have no publisher on my back.

It seems like you also need more inspiration on editing. You know things might need a change for the better, but need the right words or inspiration for that.

Writing and improving a text works better while you maintain your skills. It does not take me an hour anymore to write an article, sniffing to several translation dictionaries and grammar sites.

Reading also helped me a lot to improve. Yes, I make mistakes. We all do. Nobody is perfect. But trying to make a higher standard, will never be a bad thing.
