Freelance writing to relieve economic struggles.
I re-established my writing career out of necessity and the economic woes that I find myself in with three kids and eight animals to support. I will do almost anything to help my husband to support them and to release some pressure off my husband’s back. I have a hard time doing some things such as anything having to do with standing on my feet for more than three hours at a time because of my cerebral palsy and fatigue. I have already lost two front teeth due to an injury I had about eleven years ago when I fainted while walking down the stairs during a lunch break at Target. Luckily the store did pay for the dental work that was necessary after the accident.
The thing about writing for me is that it is safe and I know that nothing can happen to me if I am sitting at my computer typing away. I have always loved reading and writing and feel that I do that better than anything else Conversing with others in speaking form seems is difficult sometimes because I do get tongue-tied and there are times when I either can’t find the right word or the wrong word comes out and people stare at me like I am crazy. . I was telling my mom the other day that reading used to seem difficult as well because my teachers would hear me stutter when reading aloud but I was later diagnosed with a wondering right eye, which causes me to lose my place while reading aloud or silently. The thing both in conversation and reading I usually am worse when I get nervous and or tired.
Another, stumbling block I find is I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and many of the jobs that I have looked at require training out of town and sometimes out of state that initially I would have to pay for before being reimbursed for the trips and other fees that I will incur by going to them. Remember I have no money to get there in the first place so how am I to say yes to any job that requires a big sacrifice at first. This is the same problem that many poor have in getting a job in the first place even if they are well educated.
Ok, so enough complaining, I want to say that I am able to write and it costs no money in the beginning since I have a computer, printer, and, internet access. I am lucky to have that much skill and I love the fact that I am able to type well and can get out several articles a day and keep up my blog. I have also written one book titled Sunrises and Crossword Puzzles. I can do this from home by blocking out most distractions and still be here for my family. My hope in doing all this is to help make my dreams come true as well as helping my family through this crisis of economic woes.

Freelance writing is a productive way to earn some cash. I have researched some authors histories. Some have written very popular books while homebound.
