Don’t Republish Articles – Split Them Instead

It won’t be too long now before Google and other search engines start delisting all those duplicate articles out there, so don’t get caught out, instead try a different and better method as explained in this article..

There is an increasing amount of duplicate content appearing on the net today as publishers republish their articles onto other sites that allow this, it won’t be too long before Google and others start delisting these articles as duplicate content, even if the titles and descriptions have been altered.

Content Splitting:

There is a better way of gaining more revenue for your same larger articles, it does not constitute duplication, and will be allowed on any publishing site, and that is splitting articles into two or more parts, then publishing each part onto different publishing sites with a link back to the other.

Obviously, this is only really likely with the larger articles, those that are 500 words or more, and it does depend on your own individual publishing sites minimum word count rules.

An Example:

You have a large article that is say 800 words long, and is called something like “Disco Music“.  Post the first 400 words or so at one article site and call this “Disco Music Part 1“. Then publish the second 400 words or so at your second article site and call this “Disco Music Part 2“. You would do best to change the short description slightly too, for example try starting with the words “This is the second part of this series on Disco Music……”. Get the idea?

Now wait for your articles to be accepted and published by both or all of the article sites, then go back into each article and amend them to include a link to each other.. for example “click here to read the first part of this article” or “click here to read the rest of this article” or simply “go here to read part 1 (part 2)“, save them, and then you’ll get plenty of readers view both pages, thus doubling your page view revenue for the one large article.

Of course you can also do this at the same article publishing site, but I personally would not recommend this unless you leave a few days between publishing the two parts, and in any case the moderator may prefer you to add to the existing article instead.
