Critical Thinking for The Writers Soul

So as writers one of our goals is to express our opinions and share our ideas with the world. In the same way we look to the comments to learn how to improve our writing. In the process of our work it is important to remember that we are not an advertising a service or point-of-view, but rather we are here to engage the reader and possibly change the views on the issues at hand.

One important way to do this is to think critically about what you are writing. The main goal is to get the reader to think about what they just read and sow them that their way is not the only way. That is not to say that you should not write “top ten lists”, for those have their places here too. The trick to being successful at those is to not just display a list but explain your likes and dislikes of the topic at hand.

Through engaging a reader in your works you can continue to build up your fan base. You will also be able to make new friends and find new ways to promote your works. Together we can make writing more enjoyable for the writer and reading, more enjoyable for the reader.
