It puts light on two different approaches for creating creative ideas. It is very beneficial not only person in the field of creativity, but everyone in general.
So all creative people want to know only one thing – how to create exceptionally creative ideas? What is the formula to generate innovative ideas that is eye captivating? Actually there is none. Everyone have their own way of interpreting creativity. But all creative people will agree to one thing for sure – everybody says we think out of the box. But the best thing is to destroy the box itself and think the way you want to. Here I will put light on two different approaches which I have used during my one decade experience as advertising copywriter.
You need to follow the three Cs: concentration, calm & cool. And see for yourself the number of ideas popping out of your brain. This is a tried and tested method of many creative people and noted by leading creative gurus around the world. All you have to do is take out the key word from the brief – just one key word. Concentrate on that key word calmly. Try to visualize images or paint words keeping that key word in mind. Just keep playing around your ideas; merge all ideas and see the magic- these ideas will get morphed into one exceptionally strong new idea. Once you are sure, here it is, you have an innovative idea.
The best way to improve your writing skills is to read, read and read. Similarly, the best way to visualize the greatest idea is to observe, observe & observe. When I say creative idea, it means brand promotion, creative strategy or creating ads, it could be anything, even for non-advertising people. Observing people around you has a magnetic power to grab insights, to understand their behavior and the most importantly, you become the most knowledgeable creative person. This approach might not win awards for your agency, but win hearts of your target audience for sure. Try it you will be amazed to see the results.
