threw an analytical view. The writers ideas are similar to the story and how he takes a different take on the way you would expected the story to be. It will also cover some ideas and thoughts on the writing. Then to close it up it will be reviewed for a final notion.
He starts us off with the common ideas of a poor girl who has been thrown much with her family. He goes on to tell the idea of a fairy coming to her rescue so that she may taste the fruit of life on the other side. The thing is after the ball he had a twist that really no one would expected. In the poem you get a prince who only cared for Cinderella out of lust and looks alone. On a second note you realize the prince is not a man of his word and also has no mercy or pity for things he does not want. You also come to find he is very cold unlike the one from the fairy tale. As a result Cinderella does not want a selfish man for she wants a normal man which is what common women would want if they did not care for riches and gold just a man to marry her for who she is. She wanted a man who cares for her as a person not an object with a kind heart toward others.
The writing is very interesting and it seems to take on the idea of reality. It is a known fact often people born in the noble line are not necessarily what they seem. The second is often the rich are really not that kind due to how they have always been given what they wanted. It also makes sense that although a girl may be a big dreamer not all dreams can come true which is a harsh reality. It however gives the idea of hope that a dream can come true even if it was not how you intended it to.
In conclusion Roald’s poem was very interesting. His ideas took on a new idea to a traditional story. It followed the pattern but with a few changes that make more sense to the modern person. It also takes on a fairy like pattern despite it’s none traditional look because many relationships fail but sooner or later ever person finds there real king even if he is not royal blood.
