Calculating Earnings on Triond

Every writer joining triond does so knowing fully well that this great website offers payment proportional to the number of times each article gets viewed. One finds soon enough that the proportionality holds for each individual article but earnings for different articles do not follow the same pattern. Following information is not what triond officially provides but only this writer’s logical and mathematically analyzed derivations based on the data available for his articles of last several months.

A)                          Articles accepted by triond are published on different sites such as healthmad, socyberty etc.

B)                           Compensation for the article is in some way related to what triond earns from the site on which the article is published.

C)                          This makes the payment for articles vary from one cent for eight views to one cent for thirty views depending on the category and the website on which it has been published.

D)                          Triond appreciates that sometimes writers may not get the expected views and earnings on a particular site and allows them a choice to relocate articles if they feel a need to do so.

In general it is this writer’s experience that articles on beauty and society fetch better returns than those on finance or health. It appears to be normal too because far fewer viewers of health or finance related articles are likely to click on ads than the viewers of articles on beauty and society. Thus the sites catering to the later earn more than those catering to the former. Accordingly, articles in each are compensated in proportion to their earnings.

A writer always has the choice to write on another subject and create a niche where rewards are higher. Triond allows its writers to do so and it allows writers of any nationality to join quite unlike yahoo’s associated content where only US nationals are allowed to publish freely, ostensibly due to US tax laws. Compare that with the mistaken notion of US being the greatest advocate of free market and you will appreciate triond all the more.

My earnings at triond are still in cents and yet to reach a dollar. So, do not think that I am trying to push triond’s case due to personal reasons.
