Bored of Online Writing – Time for Contemporary Writing

One of these days I am pretty much bored of online content on not only triond sites but also on some online forums that I used to participate. Why? Because day by day new people are coming but they are posting same old stuff that many already know and without even polishing it to make it timely content. Gone are those days when it was a nice pastime to browse these sites to enjoy other posters’ stories. Now it is time for contemporary writing.

You may argue that much of this has to do with the editorial practice on Triond for Triond articles. But what more, I get so fooled into reading similar content on some online forums which were once great for knowledge sharing.

Such posts on online forums seem to be from newbies who joined them recently just to share a pie of the SEO juice that the site can offer them. They just reply to a thread without giving any unique or new information but just saying thanks in three lines to stuff the replies. Some mix up lot of phrases related to a topic to stuff their posts but don’t offer any new information. Just on the fly word jugglery. It is so frustrating to see these new posters. I wonder if the moderators are getting busy these days.

Same situation is getting repeated many folds on Triond sites. It is so boring to see many writers write such basic content let us say about search engine optimization or making money online that I wonder even the beginners won’t read till the end of the article. And to add to that there are inconsistent phrases added to the text to make it difficult to understand. Sometimes the doubt is whether it is grammatical. Weird enough a lot of these passes through Triond editorial filters. What would be unthinkable is how much more of such content is submitted on a daily basis to this site that keeps getting rejected. Triond may be doing a good job at rejecting if the rejected ones are a big lot out of which we are seeing some of the unreadables published.

But it is time for new writers to start writing timely content. Even if the topic being touched is an old one, one should try to cover its information from its beginning days till where it is now. It also makes life exciting for both the writer and the reader. The writer can enjoy learning more than average knowledge and think about its value in today’s context. In the context of changing lifestyles, in the context of new online writing sites, new SEO practices etc. The reader will enjoy reading timely content and unique opinions of different writers writing on similar topics.

On another note, contemporary writing may get outdated after few years again as things keep changing. Nevertheless it is better than rewriting the same old stuff. The writer will have satisfaction of creating a unique identity and the reader will keep coming for more.

P.S. On yet another note, I tried to write this entire article on my $50 phone which I bought from Triond’s earnings. But I could write only title, tags & description. The software on phone didn’t support writing the body part. I could have written the body part in description, but couldn’t have submitted it without body. Nevertheless even writing title and description was so tiring and time taking that I logged onto my comp. and finished it in no time. That was one way to get me moving into action. Nothing beats writing on a standard keyboard which is the fastest of all ways of writing text.

Your point about on-the-fly word jugglery is well taken. Keyword stuffing gives us some bad posts.

Yeah, new articles with no information that is up to date or no useful information at all, but stuffed with tons of keywords are quite annoying.
I would not mind seeing the same old stuff, if it was still useful and written for normal readers not keyword junkies.

Writing has is not always easy. What one may consider a great article the other may not. I have no problem with article that have the best key words, my problem lays in misinformed articles.
