Speculating about the Writer’s Ability to Derive Power at the Command of Words.

We may have been introduced to the common concept of empowering oneself by reading books. The age old adage “Read Today, Lead Tomorrow”. The end result would be clearly seen in today’s politics at the lives of politicians leading our nations to the brighter future it is now. The brighter aspect would of course depend upon whose eyes is looking at it, as for the politician involved, it would always seem sparkling when everything happens according to one’s own whims. As for a reader who has increased his knowledge with the correct command of words from every book he reads; the improvement maybe unnoticed until years of reading develops his vocabulary and ability to construct ideas with the appropriate choice of terminologies. Good sentence pattern would be something but knowledge of the correct spelling is another. The thing is if you missed to spell a word correctly, it may turn out to be something else because a lot of words may sound the same but differ in meaning according to the spelling. The same word may also be used differently on certain circumstances as such reading comprehension will be of great essence. Writing mastery is indeed an ability which could be attained through years of patient practice not just on an overnight break.
A bartender may spend years on the bar counter mixing drinks to please his customers and the start would be a bit tipsy, breaking glass, wine bottles and wasting drinks. But time builds mastery and without much thinking he could toss a bottle of whiskey on the air, juggling it up with a bottle of rum, soda, etc. to come up with a fitting punch to hit a drinker hard. In the same way, there’s that potent brew mixed on the witch’s melting pot combined with herbs and incantations drawn from years of experience on witchcraft. Altogether rolled into one, a great writer becomes a politician, a bartender and a witch with the mastery of his words. On a blog community, his articles will not assure to win him votes but a number of comments will do to survive a hard time post for the day. As a bartender, he mixes words to come up with ideas and opinions which will find the suitable reader to leave an imprint of wisdom as hard as the effect of a mixture of scotch whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka and other unnamable alcoholic beverage. Imagine having spent the night drinking, you wake up groggy with your head aching. That’s what you get with all those shots from a bartender but with a writer bartending with words mixed up so well, there could be no hang over afterwards but plain sobriety without the sting. As a witch, the brew will have magical consequence to the reader allowing his thoughts to be deciphered in the exact yield it has been expected to manifest. The page of a book maybe merely filled up with words without illustrations but as the reader reads the story lines, the mind unfolds the scenes in great color at such detail that the pages turn into an imaginary crystal ball where he simply watches the course of the story while reading the words on the book’s page.
As for me, I’m just a mere puppeteer and you will be amazed that I have in my hands miniature ‘stuffed dolls’ depicting my readers in exact detail. At a prick of a needle I could command comments or otherwise. But I’m more kindhearted to say that I owe most of you my comment since I haven’t returned the favor to most of you who commented on my previous posts owing to site problems (as always). So let me just leave this post to earn your smile. Ideas are just all there floating in the air. You just have to reach out for each word like picking fruits from an invisible fruit bearing tree which manifests itself only to patient, restless writers. If you’re patient and restless, you only need to learn how to write. Don’t stop trying.

For me I must magically find the right words to make people better pet owners…
millions of pets are killed every year in the USA because more are born than there are homes for, If I can convince enough people to spay or neuter their pet, or simply keep it indoors, it will make a dent in this sickening problem.
that is the magic I need.
