Picking the top ten wasn’t easy
The week has come and gone and many are asking and or wondering which were the top ten entries. Picking the best articles or the top ten entries for the February challenge has been a challenge in itself with many going for quantity as opposed to quality in order to get a bonus. While I can’t blame friends for doing just that, the heaviest casualty on Triond has been Authspot which seems to have been ignored by many writers apart from a few top grade poets. Only a few of my friends are still writing poetry
Only Matt Devine, writing as Yes Me, Ashan1614, Aiyanna, and Christine Ramsay have stayed in touch with their poetic side. While poetry may not bring in much in terms of advertisement revenue from Google, Chitika and Marketplace, it remains my sincere wish that Triond managers will find a way of rewarding our top romanticists for we can not let poetry die an artificial death.
I lost an aunt and had the worst internet connection ever!
The week had its ups and downs for I lost an aunt I had just visited and promised to see again soon, got the worst internet connection in five years and failed to meet my target of three articles every day, managing an average of just two. New writers have continued their impressive performance
There are new writers on the list and a few old ones as well. The list will be retained at the Encyclopedia of online writers where it has had an amazing presence for the past 6 weeks. No regrets even though the number of people who access it are now fewer than when it used to be on Writinghood. All the best, continue writing and Happy Valentine!

I have to agree with almost all of the choices again this week. It wouldn’t hurt to see my name on here every now and then though LOL. I actually got a lot of good views & feedback from this one last week so in the end I am satisfied .

First of all, my condolences to you. My prayers and good thoughts to the bereaved family. Unexpected things happen and all our plans go wrong. But then we have to catch up….. that is how life is.

It’s a lot of work. I secretly wish you could print out certificates but thats a bit much.

Hey I still keep in touch with my poetry. I have made sure it has went somewhere other than authspot but I do push out my art. I watch for your list every week and will continue to watch for it.

I read and commented on six of the ten. I was up at 3am and it’s now 5am. I’m off to start the day. My favorite was lillyrose’s parenting article. Wise words for mothers with sons. Very wise! Aiyannas poetry was full of lessons, it really deserves a second read. Great stuff ! I do hate the dentist as well but he is needed.
