Writing articles and getting readers to read them can be a frightening task especially for beginners and discouraged writers. Since getting readers for ones writing is a universal desire of writers, this article will outline the best approach to writing articles that will get readers reading.
In your writing three stages are very important to help you present an excellent work
• Planning stage
• Writing stage
• Rewriting and conclusion stage.

Planning Stage
At this stage you will need to do the following
1. Determine the purpose of your article
2. Determine who you are writing for
3. Research your article
Here you should understand that to write an article that reader would love you have to take an “outside in” approach, this means finding out what your unique audience would love to read. You can also find out a need they have and write about meeting it.
Put yourself in the position of the reader and ask yourself the kind of information he would love to see in the article
In your research find out as much information as you can about your subject, find quotes that will help the reader and anecdotes that will add value to the reading experience and keep the readers attention.

Writing stage
Here you do the following
1. Write your value proposition
2. Write an outline for the article
3. Write your first draft
This is where the actual writing begins. In writing your value proposition, don’t over promise. Make sure that you deliver on your promise or your reader will go unsatisfied. Remember that it is about the reader not you the writer.
An outline will help you know what should and should not be in your article. You don’t have to put all the information gotten during your research. The outline helps you sieve all you have for the most appropriate and relevant.
Write your draft, it is a draft so let the ideas and expression flow unhindered, don’t try to edit here or second guess just write. Am sure you heard that lots of times, it is essential.

Rewriting and conclusion
At this stage you do just that; you rewrite and you conclude the article.
Here you look at the grammar and spelling, check you style and the flow of the article, the language and the formatting.

You make sure you put in all that needs to be put into the article and remove all that are irrelevant. Then give a compelling conclusion that spurs you reader to the desired action or purpose your writing seeks to achieve. Reread your article, read out aloud it will help spot some hard to find errors.

Having said all these the best way to become a writer reader love to read is to keep practicing, get feedbacks and see rejections and ‘no views’ as a learning opportunity. Keep growing till you become the writer you wish to be.
