As a Writer

Why I write.

What dose it mean to me to be a writer?

I was asked that by a person once as they read my writings!

I said it means that I can breath! It is my passion as to my feelings that I am thinking at the moments I am putting words to page.

As a writer I realize that there at many time will be those that don’t or will not like everything I like as there will be those who find some of the feelings I put to paper touching Passionate or disturbing . Some things I write will provoke anger or sadness. Well as other things I write will make people, feel empowered and happy.

However, the real goal of a true writer is to move the reader as to feeling that feeling you are as you put those words to paper. As a writer, I never want to compromise what I write or feel because of judgment by other opinion. What I put to paper must remain true to my self and the only one that I need please is my own expectations as to if I could have done more or less with the words I so choose to write. I have read so many writers that say I wanted to get this feeling out but could not put it to paper because I was worried of the content or structure as to others who may read its thought and be offended.

Alternatively, they would say I did not right of the Passion I was feeling because it was to racy. As a writer, I believe I owe it to my readers to right what I feel as I feel it some times explicitly well as other times less. When I writ I want to write a storm. Something that is thunder on paper.

I want to separate my self from all other thought or Idea as to thinking. I want as all writers do my words to immortalize me for years to come like the greatest poets and the deepest thinkers. There are millions of writers out there that can say I have written a book about this or that.

However, there are only a few that are writing giants that have immortalized them selves in the minds and Imaginations of the world.

There words will live in the minds and souls of there readers long after the pages are gone. As a writer I want to be the best at what I do yet at the same time I do not want to be a writer who writes for others as much as a writer who writes for himself . If as a writer, my words touch only one person’s soul that they never forget about and the words I choose to say become an echo of sentiment through history on the imaginations of generations then I have written the words well and created a power that cannot be broken. I have read so many writers who sell out there Idea’s and thoughts because they get a bad revue or comment. To me that is not what a true writer is about! A true writer is about putting all kinds of words to paper that live. If the writer doses not believe in what he or she is the reader feels writing it. When telling a story to kids you act it out you show passion excitement and above all, you make them believe you believe everything your saying. Writing should be the same way rather it is of Poetry or of something that is about building a ship. If the writer puts himself fully in to what he or she writes then there my friends are the people I want to read again and again. When asked of kids to name a favorite writer 9 out of 10 will say Dr Sues. On the other hand, many young adults will say Steven King!

Is it because they are better writers than any writers I have read? The answer is No! So what makes these Writers so immortal in the words they write? I believe it comes down to three things One they put all they are in to the books they write or wrote they identify and feel the feelings of there words Characters and stories as if the events are true and taking place to them. Therefore, the readers pick that feeling up and are drawn in to that same situation. The mark of a true writer that separates him or her from all other writers is the ability to draw the reader in to your way of thought!

Second these writers stayed true to them selves and there styles. many writers never find there hitch be it poetry or what ever they are all over the board which is hard for a reader to remember or pin them selves down as to what the writer was trying to say!

As a writer we must stay true to the characters we put to paper and breath life in to them until they have know life left! For instance, the Harry Potter books. The writer took them as fare as they could go. With the Characters she had developed. That’s what made people keep coming back because they could relate to those people that were on the page and as the books and Characters developed they to felt they were growing and along for the adventure.

Third, never get disappointed or give up on an idea what may not be considered worthy today may have life tomorrow. The world’s readers are always looking for the next Steven King or the next Poetry or literary giant they can get behind.

So write my friends write up a storm put thunder to the page!

When your words crash on the shores of the world shout back to the sea of writers!

Do your worst for I will do mine and then all the world will know you as the best writer and feel the power those words and feelings you speak not just on the page but in there hearts that will immortalize you’re names for hundreds of years to come!

Be a terrible unforgettable storm!
