Article Writing: Become a More Effective Writers

It is common that we can see a lot of people writing articles and submit to Triond but how many articles are effective? Howe many articles really get our attention and get us to read them? Some people only submit no more than 100 articles to Triond and they are earing more than USD$100.00 each and evry month. Why some of us write a lot of articles and submit to Triond but we are not making much money from Triond? That would lead us to find out the reasons why and what are their special ability to write articles so effectively.

Who, Why, What and Where:

Who are the audience are we writing articles for? Why do we need to write articles? What is our primary topic? Where is our audience? If you can answer the 4 questions perfectly, then it would not be hard for you to start writing an effective article.

Some Tips to Improve Articles Effectiveness:

1. Write articles as a tool of communication:

When we are writing articles, do not write only information. We need to communicate with our readers. You might be asking, “Why not to write only information in our articles? Of course, articles are used for information sharing but if we only write all technical information in the articles, it would not be effective to communicate with our readers. So, try to engage our readers by asking questions as well as including some examples.

2. Proper articles organization and planning:

Try to make your articles look organize and systematic. One of the methods I like to use is by using numbering. By using this simple method, my readers can easily find out the main ideas of my articles and help them read faster. So, information transfer can be done fast and effectively.

3. Avoid using too much passive sentences:

One very important tip is to use more active voice than passive voice. If you want to get your readers to do what you suggest them to do, you must use strong and persuasive active voice sentences. It depends on what type of articles you are writing, if you are writing a more technical article, try to use more active sentences.

All in all, the most important thing to write an effective article is to communicate with your readers. By using different examples and questions in your articles can create effective communication with your readers. And, communication is the “soul” of your articles. Always remember to put your readers and communication as your top priority if you want to write an effective article.
