In this article, we will talk about five things that the top internet marketers don’t tell you about Article Marketing, and that a simple money maker online, who doesn’t have any business, will tell you.
Many internet marketers lie. It’s a fact. Most of the internet marketers feed you with so much information, even if you only go to free content, that it becomes an information overload. And then, all of them say “You’ll never need to listen to anyone else after you buy my product!”
I’m not here to tell you not to listen to anyone else. I’m here to tell you proven things that I’ve seen, for free. I want you to venture into this Article Marketing, and am merely giving you the incentive. What will I be talking about? I will give you five facts that practically none of the internet marketers tell you.
1. You Don’t Need a Website To Make Money
All of the big guys own a website, and probably own a blog. And, they usually tell you to make one too. But, with websites, you need to stay consistent with it, which can get annoying at times. Static websites require constant updating, and blogs require weekly, daily, or monthly posts about a limited topic. You always can do more than one topic, but that is not suggested.
With that blog or website, you are limited to a certain niche to use affiliate marketing in. Why not be able to earn affiliate sales without that website hassle? Why not get people to pay you to post your affiliate links?
What I’m talking about is Article Marketing here. You don’t need a blog. You could buy a product that you want to affiliate, and then post an honest review about it. Depending on the article websites you use, you could get paid for the traffic coming in, but either way, you will get affiliate clicks.
The Big Guys Say This is NOT Recomended. Do you know why? The big guys talk about all of this “Trust” stuff. You need trust to get sales. Now, that may be true, but to gain that trust, you need TRAFFIC. Traffic is where most internet businesses fail, it’s a fact. Now, websites like Triond, Helium, and eZineArticles (eZine does NOT pay you for views/clicks though!) will promote your article for you. That’s right.
You can just right one review, leave it there, and watch your clickbank sales daily! That’s how easy it is to make money.
This method is also applicable with Video Marketing, and it depends on which way you can afford/have more skills at. I, personally, am a better writer than a speaker. I also have the tools I need to write, so I went with that.
Also, after your first few sales, you can start a successful website with nothing to lose.
2. Article Marketing is very limited, and unflexible.
It’s the exact opposite, actually. I use Triond, which pays me 50% of the AdSense revenue they earn. The thing is, I can post whatever I want, from Time Management to a Gaming Tip, and they will pay me for it. My readers won’t care that I post totally different topics, because I’m writing ARTICLES.
The difference between blogs and articles is that with blogs, you’re limited to one topic and readers come back for more. With articles, on the other hand, readers read you once, or twice, and they don’t care anymore.
Though the first one may seem more affective, the fact that you’re limited to one topic bogs you down, especially when affiliate marketing. Our lives aren’t based on one topic. All of us know more than just “How to cook Vegetarian Indian Food.” We also know how to “Repair Viruses” or how to “Spend 50 Grand Effectively.” The last two topics aren’t something you can blog about, because they’re just things that you read ONCE.
3. Article Marketing Will Earn You LESS than Blogging
If you go onto a very good article submitting site, you can get paid a lot. You can first get paid revenue per view, or click on the page, getting a percentage of the site you’re posting on gets, and you can get affiliate sales, which the website you’re writing on doesn’t get a share of.
Because of the automatic traffic the website you’re posting on gives you, you get a lot more exposure for just one little article without doing anything! You don’t have to forum market, or comment market, or video market. If you leave it there, the website will probably traffic it FOR YOU!
Now, you could still earn more from blogging, but if you’re lazy like me, and just want something that you do once, and you could get a few extra bucks from next month, go for it!
4. Writing Articles is HARDER than Writing a Blog
This is a misconception so many people come across. I’ve met so many people who have confused freelance writing with article marketing. There is a HUGE difference people! So, let me explain.
Freelance Writing: Freelance writers are limited to what they write, and are often times given a specific topic. When freelance writing anywhere, you usually get paid per word, unless you have a full-time job as one, in which you may get a salary.
Article Marketing: This is your own choice. You pretty much make your article before-hand and submit it to whoever wants it. There are now many websites who will categorize your article for you, and keep every different topic on one account, like Triond.com. As said before, I can write about anything from Time Management to a Video game tip.
Article marketing is very freestyle, and it allows you to write whatever you want.
Freelance writing is limited, but is good for some people. Not me, that’s for sure.
5. Article Marketing is hard to start up in.
This is something I get so much from people trying to say making an effective blog is easy. And the truth is, article marketing is so easy to get started in.
I even created a 5-minute video that explains the entire process!
