Anger Inspires Me to Write

Everyone seems to find inspiration in different ways and fields. Do you know what particular emotion triggers your creativity? Anger seems to pull my strings.

Ever since I took the fear out of writing, back in 3rd grade, I can dot words on paper about any particular subject. However, an article or essay written without the sparkle of passion is like a relationship without love; blunt and boring. When I am writing about a specific topic, which triggers certain inner emotions, such as anger, the perfect words always seem to appear out of the blue. My trace of thought is much clearer and my ideas seem to flow much smoother.

For example, one particular subject which never fails to enrage me is religion. I’ve written countless school papers, essays and articles, even though not here on Triond, about this subject. The overall hypocrisy of religious preachings is mind-blowing to me. I could never watch a religious documentary or read a religious book without being completely overwhelmed by emotions. Some say that this is a sign of one’s destiny. They say that you were put here on Earth to straighten up whatever triggers your anger. If this is the case, I think I found my treasure chest. I discovered a way to play with my creative side, which has always been a very difficult issue for me.

But I’m interested in knowing about you. What exactly inspires you to put your thoughts on paper, or on a computer screen in this case.
