Everyone seems to find inspiration in different ways and fields. Do you know what particular emotion triggers your creativity? Anger seems to pull my strings.

Ever since I took the fear out of writing, back in 3rd grade, I can dot words on paper about any particular subject. However, an article or essay written without the sparkle of passion is like a relationship without love; blunt and boring. When I am writing about a specific topic, which triggers certain inner emotions, such as anger, the perfect words always seem to appear out of the blue. My trace of thought is much clearer and my ideas seem to flow much smoother.
For example, one particular subject which never fails to enrage me is religion. I’ve written countless school papers, essays and articles, even though not here on Triond, about this subject. The overall hypocrisy of religious preachings is mind-blowing to me. I could never watch a religious documentary or read a religious book without being completely overwhelmed by emotions. Some say that this is a sign of one’s destiny. They say that you were put here on Earth to straighten up whatever triggers your anger. If this is the case, I think I found my treasure chest. I discovered a way to play with my creative side, which has always been a very difficult issue for me.
But I’m interested in knowing about you. What exactly inspires you to put your thoughts on paper, or on a computer screen in this case.

Me? Feeling of injustice, but that’s related to anger

Love this. Religion is a subject that fires me up too. Aaaaargh! There are so many hypocrites out there who live their lives poorly – but tag their lives with a religion – so that makes what they’re doing OK, does it? I think not!

I agree with you, when I am angry, I can write everything that I have been keeping inside. Just today before I left the office I was pissed off with the kitchen that I wrote a long email to the top management, I did it spontaneously, the thought was free flowing. But most of the time I write out of inspiration

Very interesting and very true. And very well written. I think when something doesnt feel right somewhere I feel like writing, but I also have other thoughts brewing up which I share with everybody.

Tapping in to what motivates you is the key. The hypocrisy from religion should keep you going for a very long time.

I used to enjoy writing fiction, as a kid i would read R L Stine books and wonder how he came up with these crazy ideas. Then I found japanese manga and anime where the storylines are even crazier and mind boggling that I get inspired to write my own crazy stories!
