A friend talked me into trying this writing site and I discovered that I can actually use Xomba to promote my Triond links and links from other writing sites as well!
Recently I found a new way to promote my Triond articles as well as articles for other sites. It is a site called Xomba.
What is interesting about this site is that you can post articles called xombytes or you can post what is called a Xomblurb. It is the Xomblurb that helps get views to my Triond articles. Rather than republishing an article to this site to gain views, you can simply post a 50 word blurb telling what your Triond article is about and then post the link.
If you make your blurb interesting enough people will click on the link to read the article, thus getting views to your articles here on Triond. You also get paid for your Xombyte as well as long as you have an adsense account.
I originally was not going to join this site as I had enough writing sites to keep me more than occupied at the moment. However, a friend asked me to join using her referral and I did as a favor to her.
I must say that I am glad I did because once I joined she explained how I could get views to my other articles using the blurbs. Since I have only used been a member of the site about a week I have not written many blurbs as yet, but the few I have has gotten views to some articles that have not had any views for a month or two.
Not only can I see the potential for extra income here on Triond, once I get more blurbs posted, but I also like the idea of making income from both sites at the same time for basically the same article. Doubling my income will certain help.
I have been trying to be fair to the site and write as many articles as blurbs, though that is not a requirement.
Though making friends on the site seems to be a slow process, I have gotten quite a few views considering how new I am to the site.
It is my hope that I can use this site to further promote my Triond articles as I gain more readership on this site. As it stands right now the potential for views is exciting and worth giving it a shot.

Hi Martie – I was thinking of joining Xomba (it has come to my attention over the last couple of weeks) – I asked one person if they were willing for me to be a referral in return for some marketing help – they haven’t replied!! Would you let me join under you in return for some marketing teamwork?? (obviously I am holding off joining until I can join using a referral)
Very good and timely article!!

Thanks Martie for sharing your finds with us. I will give this a look and see if it helps. After being on vacation and not writing or networking my post for 10 days I have seen a drop in income.
