500 Articles, what a feeling! Thanks to all of my great readers for the help in inspiring me to move forward.
Yesterday I have achieved a pinnacle here on Triond. In the midst of all of the recent website issues, all of the recent problems that have been addressed, yesterday, I had completed article number five hundred. It was not easy to get to this point and there were a number of speed bumps along the way. The fact of the matter is there are just days where nothing will is going to click correctly and nothing that I write works. Then again, I’m sure all of you will have days like that. I have a graveyard of half finished drafts on my computer. Perhaps one day, they may see the light of the day in one form or another.
I really don’t know how much time that we’ll have left on this website to be honest with you. The problems have been addressed, there is no real need to really bring that up again. There are times where Triond really does frustrate me out of my mind. Yet there is just something about this website that is most endearing. I really cannot explain it right now. I think it has to do with part of the many great people on this website. Sure there are many bad apples on this website, but you’d always find a few people who bring the experience down on any corner of the Internet.
So I guess I’d just like to thank everyone who has read all of my articles ever. Seeing the view counter slowly go up throughout the day is a huge way to inspire me just a little bit. Seeing a few fresh comments every now and then gives a nice nudge as well. Granted, that shouldn’t be the sole reason why you write, but in the end it does in fact help to inspire you. So whether you liked my articles, didn’t like my articles, or had mixed feelings, at least you read. Sometimes that is really half of the battle, convincing people to read whatever you have concocted. I’d be lying if I said that the earnings are making me feel a little flat at times. Then again those problems have been addressed time and time again, no need to keep beating a dead horse.
Spammers can all cheerfully jump off a cliff(and live, don’t want anyone to think I’m wishing death on people), but other than that, you’re all good with me. Its really been an amazing experience throughout these past five hundred articles. I just hope that the Triond administration is a bit more responsive to the concerns of their members and hopefully can find a way to pacify Google without scaring half of their writers away. I really do think we’re going through a rather rough and length transition period in many ways. Whether is going to be a transition to the end or a transition to a bright new day, only time will tell.
There we are, in the end, writing can be a difficult road to travel. I’ll leave you with the first article that I’ve ever written on Triond and the 500th article. One more think, I really do thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support that you’ve given to my articles. I think that some are not what I’m particularly proud of, but I think that my writing tended to step up around April or May or so. I leave you with one last gift, a retrospective of sorts as we reach this milestone of 500 and look forward to the next 500.

congratulations to you.
July 30th, 2011 at 5:46 pm
Congratulations buddy!
I hope this website doesn’t suddenly decide to shut down like many other of the websites I have been on to communicate with people through. That can be incredibly disappointing. Since you mentioned it’s possibility, I may do some research on the PR rank of a few sites I want to publish other content on. Usually the PR rank tells you how long the website will be up. Don’t stop writing, and if it means anything, I’m putting one of my youtube channels up in my bio for everyone to keep contact.
July 30th, 2011 at 10:12 pm
Congratulations! Keep up the good work. You got that right! There are good people as well as the bad apples.
