Day 14 of the challenge.
I could easily write a poem, simple and to the point of my feelings. Or a short epilogue of my life, the life no one expected me to be living (but that “epilogue” is actually the next upcoming short story called Loveless Lullaby.)
♡ A short intro – Battle of Defeat
“Given fire to fight with ice; is nothing I’d do in vain
Initially the oblivious would succeed and the world would gain
But each battle has defeat; and the vain will soon believe
That we couldn’t fight alone – even with the strongest armour
You’re the ice sculpture I’ve been longing to melt
But don’t blame me for insanity because you’re the person who ignites my fire.” ҉

E: “Sister, he is the battle I can and will defeat.”
C: “Ugh, what would papa say to your act of fight. Erik is just a silly commoner.”
E: “A silly commoner. Erik. You love him!”
[[enter Erik and Robby]]
Erik: “Oh, feast your eyes on this my dear Marley. Two loyal royals. The daughters of Sir President Sullivan.”
[[Robby/Marley pre-occupied, looking at E dancing.]]

E: “What?”
