15 Signs to Show That You Got The “Write” Attitude

A lot of writers will tell you this. It takes a lot of patience, time and attitude to write. So do you have the right attitude for writing? Here are 15 signs to show that you indeed got that “write” attitude.

  1. You wake up in the morning and the first thing you want to do before you brush your teeth is to write.
  2. Before you sleep at night, you are suddenly jottled up from your bed because you just have some new inspirations on topics to write.
  3. The thought of writing something thrills you.
  4. You use your pen to “fight”. You sure know the saying well, that “The pen is mightier than the sword”. Good for you. So you are more of a verbal fighter. Just be kind on those insults.
  5. During exams, you always write “write” instead of “right”.
  6. You have a whole book of philosophy about writing. And probably a whole shelf too.
  7. Instead of hollywood celebrities, you paste your walls with posters of famous writers. Why is there your self-portrait though?
  8. You would rather write a book than to read one.
  9. You come up with your own proverbs and idioms about writing, and secretly lock them away in your safety deposit box.
  10. You write when you drive. You are definitely a skillful driver.
  11. You write more than you speak. Well, the library is definitely a great place for you.
  12. When your lover asks you for a portrait, you write instead of draw.
  13. Your favourite song is “More Than Words”.
  14.  You write everyday on Triond. And you cannot stop writing.
  15. You are reading this article. It is a great step for the “write” attitude!
