The field of writing comes with a lot of hard work. If you consider yourself to be a good writer, then you must also be a hard worker. If you think you are going to be paid dearly for submitting one article and not promote your work, then you will be waiting a long time for your paycheck, if one comes at all. Promote is a key factor in writing. It is just like a commercial, or an advertisement. Put it out there. Let your work be known. Let it be seen.

You may say that is the publishers job. You are only half right. It is your job too. Promoting your work is critical. How are you going to win page views if you don’t send it out for anyone to view? You play an active role in making your money. You can set your limit. You are recognized for what you do. Do not submit and think your money will fall in your hands. You have to promote your work. The more you promote, the more page views you will gain, the more your salary will increase. The more content you create the more you will have to promote. Just consider yourself as writing a book. If you truly love to write. Then it will not be a problem for you to create content.

Just imagine an editors job. You as an author or writer think you are underpaid. Wake up to your emails every morning and have 300 to answer from writers, publishers, and agents. Not including, hundreds of manuscripts to review, the telephone ringing off the hook, a list of three meetings for just that day. That is rough, only then this is everyday, and on friday, a slim looking pay check.

As an author you should be knowledgeable about the promotion of your work. Draw attention to your work by creating content that is interesting for a large audience. If you sit and scribble just anything, you will not go far. You should create content that is good enough to sell. If it is not then who do you think will read it? How do you expect to get paid? Money, Money, Money? Is that all? No! You have to put feeling into your work. You have to put your heart and soul into your work. That is, if you want to succeed. When readers feel your writing it carries it a long way down the road. How do you think best sellers are created? There is a key and a formula in the writing field that draws attention to everyone. The more you write for your readers to feel the more they will be expecting from you.  The more they expect, then you can also expect a brighter future in the field of writing.
