Writing is not for the faint of heart. If you want to learn how to write and write effectively, this article will explain what you need to know.
Writing can be a job like any other. Some people feel that writing comes naturally, and this is a good thing, but sometimes people can get bogged down when it comes to writing. If you want to make writing into a full time job, but are finding it hard to always know what to write and how to stay disciplined, here are some thing that you should keep in mind to help you on your way.
In order to make writing into a full time job, you have to set up a schedule and you have to stick to it. If you do not, you will find that your mind will wander and you will lose focus on the task at hand and will not even know what to write about when it comes down to it. A job is a job and writing is no different. If you have a desire to share information, then writing is right up your alley, but you have to be educated on how to do it, to be successful.
To make writing into a full time job, you have to set a pace. Writing requires a certain amount of discipline like no other job. It requires a clear mind and a clear heart if you are going to do it properly and attract a lot of readers. People do not like to read cluttered thoughts and information that does not captivate them or make any sense. If you are going to write, you need to be consistent and consistency comes with a set schedule and a balanced lifestyle. If you find that your lifestyle is hectic and you do not have a lot of time to sit down and write, writing is probably not something that is going to work for you. If you have a lot of distractions around you, in your home or just generally, then writing definitely will not work. You can make a substantial living off of writing, but the only way that is going to happen, is by you building your knowledge bank over time and by not letting it go stale. These are the basics for knowing how to make writing into a full time job. There are many resources on the Internet that can help you make money writing, but that should not be your sole objective. Your top priority should be a desire to write and to share information on what you believe is important in today’s society.

I totally agree. The self-discipline a writer needs is probably the hardest part: finding a place to write and finding the time; but writing should definitely be thought of as a job whether it is a part-time job or a full time job.
As much as I enjoy writing I want to be professional in my approach to writing.

You are so right. You have to focus and stay with it. It is a slow and steady process.
