What is a book trailer? A book trailer is a marketing tool that authors, writers and poets create to sell their publications. This brings a visual format to your readers by creating a video. These creations are mini-videos posted on sources as: YouTube.com.; myspace and facebook to increase sales. It has the same principle as a movie preview.
A Book Trailer is constructed of imagination, book content, and a theme to bring a book to life. A Book Trailer can be beneficial to self-publishing and to traditional publishers to promote book sales. How do you do this?
Windows Movie Maker is a desktop application installed on Windows Operating Systems free for owners. The help guide is beneficial in teaching anyone how to construct your own Book Trailer.
You will need to know the text you want to share of your book and the theme to project into creating your own Book Trailer. There are Royalty Free websites that allow free graphics and free music to add your trailer. You may use your own content if there are no copyright laws infringements.
It is as simple as doing a Royalty Free search on google.com. This will provide content of photos, music and video clips that you may use. However, in the credits of your creation, you will have to visibly include this.
Construct a written visual synopsis, compile content that you would like in your trailer, align together in Windows Movie Maker, and hit save. Upload on line to outlets such as YouTube.com and you have free advertising for your work.
