Getting Paid to Blog

We all would love to get paid to blog.  It’s what we love to do.  Write that is.  Don’t we all love to do it?  It’s a lot of fun to sit at a computer or laptop and roll whatever is inside our brains onto the computer page.  We love to write about all kinds of things.

Before there was internet, we probably wrote at a typewriter or collected our writings in journal form.  The old fashioned term is called handwriting.  Today it is a lost art.  Oh well.

I really do love the advantages of the computer. 

And now after doing a little bit of research, I have found a few places that we can get paid to blog.  There are lots of sites out there.  Some ask you to blog and write about things they would like you to write.  How that goes about is that you get assignments.  A lot of places want you to write about certain products.  Fashion, websites, etc… the list goes on and on.  Well,  I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go that way.  I really enjoy writing things I like to write about.

That’s why I signed up for this site.  It seems really good and looks to be user friendly.  And I can tell there is a large community to this site.  I haven’t done a lot of searching yet, but it seems like there are a wide range of different types of writers.  It seems a little like hubpages.  I think I’m going to like it.

I’ve been writing on hubpages for about eight months.  I really like that site too.  http://jfay2011.hubpages.com/hub/  I’ve written well over fifty hubs so far.  I’ve been trying to write more hubs to see if my profit increases.  I’m at $1.00 right now.  It doesn’t really seem like much.  I was surprised to hear that some people there were making $100 a week and some were even making $1000 a month.  I would really love to know their secret.  I would love to write for a living.  Besides my other too dreams of getting my photography business off the ground and also my paperdoll website.  I’ve got a part time job as a cashier and my hours have sucked since January, so am really hoping that these other options really take off.  I’m sure we have all dreamed of making a living off our writing.  I guess we all just have to come up with creative articles that are ultimately going to catch people’s eyes.  And target our audience and traffic.

Well, that’s enough for now.  I did manage to get some more of my paperdolls on my paperdoll website.  There are seven or eight on now.  I had to stop when my daughter came home and took control of her computer.  I’ve been using hers as mine crashed because she spilled milk on mine.  I’m hoping she will let me use her pc for a little bit tomorrow.  I’m going to be with them all night.  I’m separated and don’t get to see them every night.  I get to see them every day anyway.  But I only get two overnights a month.  Kind of stinks but that is the way it is.  But with my hours being cut back, I have been able to see them a lot.  Which is really great while they are growing up.

So have fun blogging on different sites and keep it original on each one.   It’s good to find different sources and then write the most to the one that is your favorite.  They all are cool.
