Inspirational ancedote about entrepreneurs, and making a living as a writer.
Entrepreneurs are people who do more work than the average person, not to work. We’re a dying breed indeed. As a writer, it’s a constant battle to find the balance between what I want to write, and what people want to hear, as in, what makes money.
I for one believe that any crap that someone spews out can make money if marketed correctly. It’s a question of survival. Can one live off of their writings?! I for one intend to find out. A lot of people out there are probably reading this, and thinking “what crap”. And ya know, maybe they’re right. But maybe, just maybe, it’s not.
Hopefully, I inspire someone out there to pick up a pen, or a keyboard as it may be, and make a little bit of money. Or carve a little piece of their own artistic freedom, whichever the case may be. It’s all relative, but as for me, I will make a living doing what I enjoy, if I have to kill for it!
