There is an agency that everyone should watch out for.
There is an agency called Writer’s Literary Agency, and they are under investigation. They have held several names and are accused of getting money for things that have no reason. I have been a victim of these people.
They charged me over two thousand dollars to edit my manuscript. Afterwards they said that they found a publishing company. The so-called traditional publisher said that they couldn’t make their money in the time frame that they wanted. They offered me a joint-venture contract, which cost me another six-hundred and fifty dollars.
I did not know that they were already tied together and they even tried to get me for more money. The publisher said that my work needed to be edited, and I said no way. I just had it edited, but when I really looked over my manuscript, there were missing question marks and things.
They are out to make money on authors who are just trying to get into the business.
