Why You Should Never Rush Your Writing!
I’ve read many articles on online writing and the one reoccurring theme is a fast production rate with your writing. Write more, faster writing, three articles a day is just not enough! This seems to be the catch cry of the writing opportunist, the so called writer/sensationalist, and the other likeminded shallow collectors of words. Quality is Not Quantity!
As one reads through most of the articles here on Triond, especially about online writing success, they will find that the written fodder focuses on a very capitalist mentality of quantity, production, and money. I can’t help but be angered at the severe misdirection of such articles as they reinforce a vision of writing that hasn’t been seen until only a century or so ago. Quality is not quantity, and quantity will never be quality. Let’s read on….
