I do my own writing. I write from the heart. I write whatever is on my mind at that particular moment. It isn’t often that I have to go and do a lot of research about any one area or topic that I am writing about.

I came across this discussion this morning and was wondering whether I write from the heart or otherwise. The question is: what does writing from the heart mean? It may mean different things to different people. Do all types of writing genres require that you write from the heart?

You would have come across this advice from professional writers. "Write from the heart!" so that your audience would be able to feel what you feel, see what you see and think how you think. But writing from the heart is tough. It’s not easy. I can’t say I have mastered it myself. Still learning!
