Is Posting Reviews Valuable to the Reviewer?

If we get a lot of value from posting reviews, we will have an incentive to post reviews even when we don’t have a strong opinion, but maybe to exaggerate it to get our review read. When we can’t trust reviews any more, they cease to be valuable. What then?
