Everyone has a story about how they joined the writing group here at Triond, this one is mine, what’s yours?
A look at what goes on sometimes with fellow writers and their comments!
There are five different writing techniques writers use. Writers use these different writing techniques to express their ideas, opinions, and various other things to readers.
Somewhere along the line, we may meet someone who will let us do something for him or let us learn something from him, all of us have the right to choose which best serves our purpose (or you prefer to submit to his purpose).
How hard is writing? Don’t let anyone scare you away from writing by telling you how hard it is. The truth is writing is a joy for most writers. Research can be time consuming and tedious but getting your ducks all in a row on the computer or paper can be a happy experience. Writing is solitary. It’s a one man, or one woman business. Visitors or any interruptions are discouraged during writing sessions. Get on your writing hat and take a shot at it. You might be surprised at how much fun writing can be.
Do you think a writers group will benefit you? It very well could. For honest evaluations and support nothing else comes close. If you do join a writers group, get ready to squirm when you hear your work being read. And listening to what people have to say about it is even more embarrassing. It is always an act of trust to put your work out for others to evaluate after you have given it your best shot, but it does get easier and sometimes makes you a better writer.
