So you want to write, you want to be seen, and you want to make some cash off it? Okay.
Descriptions are vital part of prose. Without knowing how the characters and settings look, we cannot visualize them. The tales become populated with vague, fuzzy people living in an indistinct land. It is difficult to see them clearly. Descriptions of people, era and locations paint in the fine detail help bring the story alive.
The greatness of an article is being able to make an audiovisual imagination unlimited. That is what makes article different by the work using audiovisual media.
"Show don’t tell" is not a golden rule in narration and description but just a basic guide. There is not perfect way to describe a character. How, then can we make believable characters?
"Sky Razor has a problem. Despite her older brother’s research and the doctors’ efforts to sustain it, the attacks keep coming. She senses it at first: the sudden depression, the nightmares, the pain prickling at her fingertips. Then, it lets loose. She lets out a blood curdling scream; Blade passes out; Red runs to help her. Red takes her pain away, and the weight of the attack fades. Blade wakes up.
When a strange businessman comes to her with an answer, a way to stop the attacks, and to free her mind and body, she follows. Perhaps, Harvey Jacobson can help her. Perhaps, he knows more than he should."
"My world does not have wars. We do not disagree. Our existence is Utopia, until one Abby Dante comes along to ruin it all. Her ideas are far-fetched, wild, impossible. She sees the world differently than the rest of us. I think I love her."
Whenever I have an idea, I’d like to remember it to translate it into an article later. I write the title down and a brief description. Then I put it into the right category, add some tags, and choose a picture for the thumbnail. Then I save it for later when I get the chance to work on it.
An intro of what I plan on submitting.
Many writers wonder what "hot" topic will earn them higher income. Site and product reviews can do very well.
Just a spur of the moment paragraph based on description…
