There are three tips of good writing.
1. Grammar and Spelling
Seriously, even the best writers and marketers make these mistakes. Some of the most common grammatical mistakes include improper punctuation like misusing commas. Also, watch out for “there,” “they’re” and “their,” and “your” and “you’re.”
2. Streamline Your Prose
Most writers over-write, meaning, they try to cram as much in a sentence, paragraph or article. One of the best tricks to ensure that your prose is snappy and effective is to cut a percentage of your words. Yes, this sounds scary and hard, but it really words. Force yourself to go through your writing with a big, fat red pen, ridding yourself of excess. Try to steamline your prose by at least 10%.

3. Avoid Jargon
You may know what you’re saying when you’re dropping technical terms or jargon in your email, but, chances are, your subscribers may not. Avoid using terms that need explanation. If you can’t write it without using jargon, then you’re not a very good writer.

I strongly agree. My tutor of the creative writing course told me to read it aloud to spot what it doesn’t fit, badly written or even if I’ve overdone it. Adjectives should used the same way we use aromatic herbs on a stew -too many of them will spoilt it. The same applies with adverbs. Not being able to cut or use the red marker is typical of an amateur writer as we like so much what we write that we’re always unsure to get rid of many sentences! I try to keep in mind what my jouranlist sister told me once -in journalism, if it has to be 37 lines, it has to be this amount -it can’t be 36 or 38. You could have written longer, but you couldn’t have said clearer. Thanks for sharing!

Tip 4
Try not to be repetitive, for example using the same word, you’re, 3 times in one short paragraph as you did above

I will try less words in a sentence. There is a wrong word in your #2 tip”Yes, this sounds scary and hard, but it really words.”
Works

“Yes, this sounds scary and hard, but it really words.” LOL. You meant “works” and not “words,” right? Please submit a correction.
