This is very common with many writers, including the best of them all. In order to publish fresh new content, one must work their best everyday in delivering satisfaction. It’s a bit tough for me from now on, with the pressure of being flagged for not being the best.
It’s been awhile since I’ve forced myself to actually sit down and start typing. I’ve been busy balancing work and entertainment. I’ve found procrastination at its worst for my writing life. I haven’t been reading my friends and fans articles that much lately than I used to a few months ago. Instead of spending hours on the internet reading other user’s articles and fanning them, I’ve only been returning comments and viewing the top articles that interest me.
It’s been at least a week or two since my last article and it’s almost the end of the month. In my August goals article, I set a 10 article goal for this month, which is relatively low compared to what I managed to pull out before. I only have about five articles published and I need to get my engine running fast before 7pm tomorrow (Triond’s server reset time for me).
A couple of reasons why I’ve been slacking is probably because the fear of not putting my best in my work. Not everyone is perfect, but sometimes I’m afraid that my article will turn out to be too short or lacking content. With articles like these, I manage to go on and on about my life which I hardly think anyone wants to know about. (If you do, however, thanks a ton!) I joined Triond to improve my writing skills and I have seen it improve a bit. I could never understand true literature mastery, as I wasn’t able to understand a single thing the author was talking about in a book. In fact, to make matters worse, I’d get distracted by how many commas were added in!
Since I’ve been rushing before and not taking the time to overlook my grammatical errors, I’ve now been copy and pasting my words onto Microsoft Word for spelling and grammar errors. Of course, a computer can’t fix everything so I’ll also re-read my article a few times over again.
This article will be kept short, hopefully you guys don’t mind if I pull one like this every once in a while. The fans are great and I’m making a steady stream of income which I’ll talk about in a different article. Your comments support me to push myself to write something in my best effort. Also, a big thanks to those who earned me my 10,000 views badge! I’ll post an another update article soon about it as well.

Hey! I find it interesting when you talk about yourself. DON’T kill yourself over this hun. You are doing an awesome job. I know you can try constant-content.com
Though, they do have stricter guidelines. I think we all could do it. I love Triond though. I made lots of friends. ^_^
I don’t about my luck but any you can do it.

Microsoft Word is good, but not that good to check each and every mistake, sometimes it does no good… so it’s better not to procrastinate and depend too much on text editors

Perfectionism and Procrastination do go hand in hand. I have a graveyard of at least 100 articles that have been abandoned, sometimes because I couldn’t think of a word, or because once written down the topic got boring.
Writing about yourself is fine, I enjoy reading about how other writers live.
I do all of my writing in Microsoft word and transfer to the online editor. I find it easier to work with, and then I have files of all of my work.

Keep up the good work. The more you write, the better your writing will be. You can always go back and edit your work even after it has gotten published. Are you ready for the Sept challenge?

I´ve set myself into the goal to write an article a day, trying to do it my best. Obviously, I aim to get paid for my writings, but there´s no way one can write three or four good articles a day. Writing takes time and patience. It´s drafting, editing, researching, counsulting dictionaries… Take it easy and don´t write if you don´t feel you have something to say. Thanks for sharing.

This is very good. There are times when I find myself procrastinating too. I write for four different sites so it can be hard to get my motor running at times. I am looking forward to reading more of your work.

I’m procrastinating right now. haha
seriously though, you hit the nail on the head here, I have all the same thoughts- except, I think a lot of people are probably OK with reading a short article, content being more important than word count. This article was worth reading.
Thanks, and good work.
