If you can name it you can claim it.
I think we can all agree that for a writer to be successful writing for money online, the writer has to balance quality with quantity. This article deals with quantity. How can a writer turn out content fast?

Say you want to submit an article to Triond every day. Say you have all sorts of responsibilities that put great demands on your time and the amount of time you have for writing is very limited. But you’ve set a goal of publishing something every day. I have a couple of tips that might help.
First of all realize that research takes time. So you must pick a subject to write about that you know well enough that research is not required. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that this will limit you. Think of it as causing you to be more focused.
Secondly, realize your article should be as short as possible. The more words in the article the more time you will have to spend on it. The fewer words the less time you will spend on it.
Now let me just stop here and say that I know this advice is simplistic; but unless the advice is actually put into words the advice won’t seem real.
And finally try this trick. Don’t try to come up with an idea for an article. Just come up with a title. The title will point you in the right direction. Ideas will flow from the title. Pretty neat, huh?
No, no you don’t have to thank me. I’m just doing my job.
Up, up and away!

Or, if not a title, a punch line…kicker. Work backwards.
November 18th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Hahaha… your very perky today Guy!
Great article and it makes lots of sense.
Just one thing I don’t agree with and thats ‘Just come up with a title’ I am afraid I cant’t do it that way, my titles don’t come until I am maybe a 1/4 into the story or article and sometimes the title doesn’t come until very near the end.
I need inspiration from the work I am doing to give me ideas for my title. Is that weird?
November 18th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
Oh Kens post wasn’t there when I wrote my comment. I guess I am not that weird then!
November 18th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Yes, a good title gives the spur. Wondered about people who write two, three a day.
November 18th, 2009 at 1:34 pm
I agree with this!
November 18th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
I alternate between the title or the kicker. I can’t do it just one way, lol.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:09 pm
Good idea. Nice tips!
November 18th, 2009 at 2:11 pm
Good tips. Usually I have more success with items I have not put as much effort into.

ken, excellent idea. Same concept.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
lillyrose, I use to create your way but I find that for me it’s no longer fast enough. My goal is to publish every day on Triond. So far it’s working more or less.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:31 pm
chitragopi, I wonder what kind of response people get who publish a lot in one day.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
jengriver, thank you. I hope the article was helpful.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:37 pm
Lady Sunshine, I do the same. The concept is the same.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
Sourav, this is just one way to do it. There are certainly other good ways, too.
November 18th, 2009 at 2:44 pm
Christine, I had to find a way to write something every day and this method works for me.
November 18th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
very good idea, very useful thanks
November 18th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
I am inclined to agree, the article I worked the hardest on does not get as many hit as the ones I don’t really work hard on. Thanks for sharing.
November 18th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Great idea, never thought of writing from the title, usually it works the opposite for me, idea or phrase. Thanks for the good ideas you always bring to the Triond table.
November 18th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
Good work…
November 18th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Makes a lot of sense to keep them short to turn out more, at least one a day if possible. It really comes down to knowing your audience and writing about something that will generate more traffic and therefore, more revenue.
November 18th, 2009 at 5:11 pm
svishnugopal, I’m glad you found the article useful.
November 18th, 2009 at 5:14 pm

November 18th, 2009 at 5:23 pm
Papa, I could not agree more.
November 18th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
I’m with Ken,I like to have a punchline before title.Great write Guy, very interesting concept!
November 18th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
Very good advice. It is also important to aim your articles at sites that pay the best rates
November 18th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
You have a working tip Guy. Thanks. I do try to write a short article but sometimes I get carried away and before I know it, I have already written more than I intended. I like writing so it doesn’t matter if my article is long or not as long as I enjoy doing it.
See my new post that will bring abruptly bring in more traffic to everyone’s site: http://webupon.com/marketing/amazing-tips-that-abruptly-increase-online-readership/m
Once again, nice tip.
November 18th, 2009 at 7:33 pm
Sorry, for that little error in my post. Please ignore in your mind ‘bring abruptly’.
November 18th, 2009 at 8:24 pm
Very nicely done, Guy. You have a flair for writing short but helpful articles, thanks.
November 18th, 2009 at 8:29 pm
lol great advice, thanks
November 18th, 2009 at 10:26 pm
great tips.
November 18th, 2009 at 10:58 pm
The ‘Title’ concept is a good one. You’ve really provided us with glocose.
November 18th, 2009 at 10:59 pm
I think it’s all depend. Personally, I think article that needs to research more can help maintain a constant traffic from the readers. It’s not right to say that more articles will earn you more, it’s all depend on the matter of subjects you’re writing about..
November 18th, 2009 at 11:37 pm
ooh finally! i needed something to help me think of writing topics, now i know its just the topic! thanks!
November 19th, 2009 at 12:09 am
I am definitely a fan of yours, Guy. I just need to get around actually turning on the computer everyday!
November 19th, 2009 at 2:58 am

Thank you, Guy. Balance is the key.
November 19th, 2009 at 5:03 pm
Well, I have to thank you. Informative and usefull article. I have been having problems writing lately. I always come up with a title first and then change it if needed or it doesn’t fit the final draft.
November 19th, 2009 at 7:33 pm
Great tips. Writing short articles with useful information can bring more readers.
November 20th, 2009 at 11:55 am
Good write, I’ll definately follow some of these tips, thank you so much for sharing!
November 21st, 2009 at 4:21 pm
I like this, I could relate. Thanks my friend.
November 21st, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Nice article. I agree on most of what was written except the concept of coming up with a title first. For me, I need to have the topic and all my points down first, and then the inspiration for a title comes to me.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:51 am
HI, I feel like everything has been said here about writing.. sum it up with… different strokes for the different fokes.( I have to decide the subject first and 5 key points and take it from there.)v good write thxs..
