Writers block affects us all; for many different reason. Here are a few items that I find have helped me in the past.
Writers Block occurs for many reasons, such as depression, work overload, and not being connected with oneself. In order to be an effective writer, your idea has to be clear-cut; it cannot be crowded with thoughts of work, or other unfinished business. If you have other things on your mind, or unfinished business; then you need to finish them, whether they are chores, homework or housework. Then simplify your mind by prioritizing you life. When you have a plan of action, your less stressed and it is easier to focus on what is necessary.
As a writer, you should always have a paper and pen, so as ideas come about, you can make yourself a little note; using only a few words, and the proceed with what you were doing. If your overwhelmed with work, then get it out of the way, there is no way you will be able to write anything worth reading if your mind is some place else. In a situation where there is a load of housework to do, make a list of things that must get done, and put them in the order that they must get done. In between each item that requires my attention, I leave a little space or time; since while your working an idea for writing something may inspire a great piece of writing. So now I have my prioritized list, and have left room for writing and I am less stressed. When we are not stressed; ideas and thought flow smoothly, when we are stressed we are angry and we focus on the anger. So let us de-stress our self, first.
Depression is a condition that affects us all, for many reason. Sometimes writing about our depression can set us off on writing a beautiful piece of art. I find that being in a quiet location, and relax and focus on nothing but relaxing my muscle and bones, it clears my mind of depressing thoughts. You cannot focus on relaxing, and depressing thought at the same time.
Clinical depression is hard to over come, especially if there has been a lot of things’ going on in your life; I use those situations to write. Some of my best writing came about after a death, or a break-up; where I cried through out the time I was writing.
To my amazement, after all the crying I felt a little better; it unblock my writers block for a while.
Sometimes you can just sit down, take a thought, and connect other thoughts to it. Pick a color, and connect it to how your feel, for some the color blue may make a person depressed. For others it may bring back memories of a great vacation, on an island; where they would swim in the blue waters surrounding the island. Take a walk in your neighborhood, or go to another neighborhood, and look around. Go to the zoo or museum there you will see different things, and hear different conversations; that just may unblock your writer’s block. A change of scenery is always stimulating to the mind; and refreshing to the soul.
We all suffer writers block, and you can get through it by not stressing yourself.

As I writer I used to suffer from that. My biggest reasons were:
1- Fear of rejection.
2- Fear of Criticism.
3- Laziness
4- No Reason to Write.
1- Now I do not care. If I get rejected I remeber almighty God cannot please everybody, so who am I to please everyone?
2- Again this is a great sign of progress. Dale Carnegie book How To Stop Worrying and Start Living Says It All
3- Lazy or not, now I do.
4- A big goal is my reason.
