The reason you don’t get the views you want.
All of us on Triond have at one point wondered why we don’t generate the views we would like on our articles. There is a simple answer. Friends and reputation. The best way to accumulate a steady stream of views to your content is to make friends and establish a reputation.
Establishing a Reputation: This is my twenty-ninth article and i’ve generated just under 500 views with my 28 finished articles. That is on average just under eighteen views per article. My top two articles have 88 and 71 views respectively*. Take those two away and i average about 13 views per article. Those two articles were my first personal achievements and my first major splashes on the writing scene. I gained fans and friends abundantly from those articles and they didn’t even draw 100 views. All you need is that big time article to put you over the top. I’m not quite established yet, but my main goal in these articles is to appeal to my readers and achieve a steady viewing audience.

Friends: Gaining friends is easy, all you have to do is search for someone and add them to your friends. I don’t just befriend everyone though, I try to add those who might be interested in my articles or vice-versa. Since friends’ articles show up in the news feed this gets your article out there. There is no shame in self-promotion, as long as you don’t force your articles on someone, that is essentially reading-rape. Hope you enjoyed it and I hope I could help.
