Writing is a joy, when you are producing really great pieces of work that give you a sense of pride. But what do you do when your writing starts to stagnate and you begin to lose all the enthusiasm and motivation that you used to have for your writing?
Does it feel sometimes as if your writing has stagnated and that nearly everything seems to be the same old way all the time?
Do you constantly find yourself wishing for your writing to be better and for it to become more successful?
Didn’t you start out as a writer with great ideas that inspired you and gave you a continuously motivating feeling?
So, why don’t you do something about it, or have you now accepted that this is the way it will always be and there is nothing that you can do?
Maybe you don’t know where to start and are afraid that if you make changes they will make your writing worse instead of better.
In that case, dare to experiment, try a few different things to start with and see how it works for you and your writing.
For example, make an approach to your readers, try getting to know them more and finding out what they would want to read in your articles.
Ask your writing friends and the general writing community what they think most needs to be improved with your writing and then implement the ideas that make sense.
Put in place some of the things that you have wanted to do with your writing, that lack of time and other distractions have stopped you doing.
Review each change and keep the ones that work well and make your writing better. Then try a few more different ideas until you are really satisfied that your writing is becoming more improved.
The more you do, the more you will want to do. Positive results will build your enthusiasm and you will find yourself becoming more motivated with a feeling of purpose and a renewed excitement for your writing.
It will not happen overnight and it will take effort and determination, but if you remember well, that is how you started your writing and you must also remember how good it made you feel.
Go on, dare to experiment and get the results for you and your writing that you deserve.

Great article with very helpful advice. I like to try different styles of poetry so I don’t get bored with just one type all the time.
