Quick tips for those with writers block.
Have you ever found yourself asking this question? I have. I find myself asking this question all the time actually. The reason I’m writing this article now is because I couldn’t figure out anything talk about. So I’ve been looking at some things on the internet for tips on what to write about. I found absolutely nothing. I had to revert back to my childhood days and pull out some old English notes and you know what… I actually started writing. Here are some tips I found:
- For five minutes, write down whatever comes to your mind, without taking a break. Once you’re done, look at what you wrote and see if you can write a story or poem about it.
- Vent. If you’re having a bad day, write it out. Some people would love to hear about what’s going on in your world. As a plus, it clears your mind for new material.
- Change locations. Putting yourself in a new surrounding can inspire you to write new things.
- Listen to your favorite music, read your favorite book, or watch your favorite movie. Without even knowing it, you’ll be inspired to write about what you’re hearing, seeing, or feeling.
- DON’T STRESS YOURSELF OUT. You’ll only block your ideas even more. Give yourself time and it will eventually come to you.

Good tips, but there are 1000’s of other solutions to end writers block as well. My favorite is taking a walk and observing other people. Also, tip #1001 – Storymash.com. Collaborative fiction, or writing with any other writers is another sure fire way to end the suffering.
