Triond Pictures Sizes: Which Photo Sizes Work Best?

What picture sizes work best in Triond articles? Does Triond make any suggestions regarding desired photo sizes?

Working with photos can be tricky. Triond’s handy Online Editor makes the process somewhat easier.

If you’ve mastered the process of inserting pictures into your Triond articles, you may be wondering which  size works best. Does Triond suggest any desired Triond picture sizes for articles?

I found myself wondering about this. A fellow writer at Triond had written asking for insights on adding photos to Triond articles. This spawned my recent article How to Add Photos to Your Triond Articles. In that article I discussed one easy method of adding pictures to Triond articles.

But, I found myself wondering if size was a factor.

Triond Picture Sizes

I whipped off a letter to Triond and thought I would share the insights about desired Triond photo sizes I received.

“There is no official image size, nor recommended image size, within our standards.”

Okay, so for writers who simply want to upload the URL in the Online Editor and click on the arrows to size the picture, this method is fine.

Certain recommendations were offered that might prove helpful regarding Triond Picture Sizes

 ” . . . images with a dimension of approximately 640 x 480.”

It was also noted that because each website within the Triond network has a slightly different format, a good rule of thumb might be:

  • Triond photo sizes larger than 300 x 300
  • Triond picture sizes not larger than 700 x 500

It was mentioned that images larger than 700 x 500 will be sized down to fit the viewable screen.

So, for easy remembrance, Triond pictures could be around 600 x 400 or 500 x 500.

The following information was helpful

  • “From Photoshop or Paintshop or similar programs, there is a tab at the top of the program entitled “image”. Depending on the program, you should see an option for “image sizing” or another similar term. Click this, and a box will pop-up that will allow you to re-size your image, without cropping it.”
  • Another suggestion was the free online editor called Picnik. Apparently, users have the option of re-sizing images, using Picnik.

Sum-Up About Triond Image Sizes:

  1. Triond will re-size your pictures to fit the screen
  2. You can simply click on the picture to re-size it
  3. You can use an editing program to achieve the desired size
  4. Think: 6 x 4 or 5 x 5, if you want to re-size your pictures for Triond

No doubt about it, pictures add visual appeal to your articles
