Tips for Using Triond’s New Online Editor

Triond’s new Online Editor makes the submission process much easier.

Triond’s Online Editor makes submitting articles much easier. You don’t have to create a file, save it, hunt for it and then upload it, etc. Another plus is that if you need to make a fix, you don’t have to repeat the whole process, modifying an existing file, saving, then uploading.

Tips for Using Triond’s Online Editor

  • You can create a file if you wish, in Word, then click on the icon with the blue W to paste it from same
  • You can insert an image (icon that looks like a TV)
  • You can embed a video (icon that looks like a strip of film)
  • You can embed links by using the chain symbol beside the blue arrows
  • You can click on the ABC button to spell-check your article
  • If your text mysteriously disappears, try hitting the active blue curved arrow to get it back
  • If you later decide to eliminate it, try hitting the other curved arrow

The Online editor also offers Online Editor Help (the greyed letters beside Article Body at the top).

    Having read many of your articles, I find it surprising you’d have rejected articles–your articles are always well written.

    That is what I dislike about the Editor. There is no spell check. It would be great to have it.

    It doea appear to highlight words by underlining them in red.

    Triond has now instituted the draft feature so that authors can save works in progress in the Online Editor–so for those who prefer to type directly into the box, over pasting from Word, this should prove invaluable.
