The new beginning of someone else hearing your though waves. The shared fears of writers with confidence. You can always place the punctuation marks correctly when your mental functions freeze. Direct the brain to visualize your ideas in nouns and verbs. Create your mental outline in a readable format. Been there, done that, you are starting to express. It’s called writing! Congradulations, you have taken the first step to a new world of passion.
The key in being good writer is to apply all the things you have “heard ” in your lifetime, onto paper. Sounds extensive, I’m sure. It definately is! Your individual life is composed of so many words. If you will sit only for a brief moment you will hear words from all sources. How many times will the recollection from childhood creep into your mind. Your Mom’s voice will echo ” what in the world were you thinking about?!” or ” if you keep making those faces, you’re going to freeze like that”. She was only trying to prepare you for a world of creativity and expression. By the don’t forget to drop by and tell her thanks.
In writing or creating you bring another mind into your very soul. Your own private thoughts, emotions, fears, and feelings are all exposed. Do have the mind-set of being kind to yourself. There are others that have had the very same feelings and thoughts as yourself. Scarey, huh? “We all don’t think alike”. Ahh, and who’s voice was that? Happiness, fears, secrets, knowlegde, and a lot of humor all detail your brain. Place these particals onto paper and words will flow. You may even suprise yourself on easy the words join together to express your ideas.
The is path to writing is a journey, just as your life has been. Your life, up to the very point it is, and for many days ahead, has been roller coaster of emotions. Unclutter your brain, create free space, and reorganize the data. Put it on paper, in a journal, wordpad, and even an article to publish! Once you have cleared out feelings, memories, and a few experiences you will have more room for fresh ideas. At that point the ideas can grow, and your creativity will flourish. The only next step is to be thankful you become a great writer!
Congradulations in wanting to share your feelings and emotions! Most of all don’t forget to remember all your grammar and english teachers. Actually see their faces in your mind and remember the funny glasses he wore, or the loud colors of her lipstick and matching nail polish. They embedded the very words you will always hear. Again, I remind you, if those teachers are still around, stop in to thank them for their contribution to your life.
Thankfulness is the final key in evolving, not only in your writing career, but your life as well. Once you realized that your wonderful, organized, well planned brain is a conglomeration from all the words you were exposed to, you become thankful for all the contributions. The good, bad , and the ugly. They all contributed to who you are. When the silence hits you, it is then you become thankful. Swallow. You survived! Now write it!
Thankfulness, and you know I got to say it….don’t forget to thank the MAN upstairs. He is the orginal contributor, for it was he that created your brain. May he always smile upon your words, for he knows your purpose and your heart. I wish for you the writtings from your heart, and that reinforces a great writer. May your journey be passionate and rewarding as a great writer!
