How to Write a Quick Poem

A simple, yet effective way to write a poem.

  1. On line one, write the subject, in this case: ‘Storm’
  2. On line two, write down two descriptive words that spring to your mind when you think of the subject: ‘Dark, Angry’
  3. On line three, write three verbs connected to your subject: ‘Blows, Howls, Crashes’
  4. On line four, write a thought that comes to you: ‘Will it never end?’
  5. On line five, write another phrase to describe the subject: ‘Natures Rage’

Final Result

Storm.
Dark, Angry
Blows, Howls, Crashes.
Will it never end,
Natures Rage.
