How to link, quickly and painlessly, using the Online Editor linking tool.
This morning I received an e-mail from a friend who suggested an article idea: How to use Triond’s Online Editor linking tool.
Linking can be confusing–especially if you are a newer writer. I remember how long I spent trying to master HTML so that I could include links in my articles. I kept thinking, there’s got to be an easier way.
If you are writing an article and want to include a link to another site or links to your other Triond articles, you can do so following these simple steps. Shrink down the page you are working on so you don’t lose your work (hit the horizontal line up on the right so that your article rests down on the taskbar).
There are other ways to link but this method is one of the easiest–especially if you have right-click capability in your mouse.
It may seem confusing but once you do it a couple of times, linking becomes old hat. Knowing how to embed links saves valuable time and lends a professional polish to your articles.

Thank you so much for writing this! My friend RJ Evans pointed me to your article, and now I know how to insert links in my Triond stories. I had a story with five links I wanted to put in, but I didn’t know how to do it. Thanks for a very useful article!

Hi Athlyn for this article. I am going to try this one for sure–I think I understand it well enough to make it work. I have tried other ways that I have been told and not gotten it right yet, but then I am a computer illiterate. Still this makes sense to me, so maybe–just maybe.
Thanks so much for publishing it.

I agree with JOJO on this. The writer denus is doing a good job with simple techniques that on the surface look worthless, but their worth is hidden.
Read that article and enjoy the difference after implementing those ideas.

Wow! Again,
I remember when I was hired to write a series of health articles. I had to include links and did it all using HTML. I would paste the code in and it was such a headache. Then I discovered how to embed links. What a lifesaver!! Linking is so easy when you know how to do it.
Thanks for all the wonderful and supportive comments, guys.

I really didn’t know about this. I can’t believe that it was there the whole time.

Hi Army,
It’s easy to miss a function in the Online Editor. Once you get on to adding links, it’s a breeze. you can also do this at Blogger.
