Have the upper hand. Create your own resume.
It is hard to get a job these days. We all know that. To get a job you have to try your hardest. Push it to the limit. You have to push as far as you can. I, personally, don’t wait for someone to call me for employment. My steps are easy. I go in the place a business. Ask to speak to the manager, or personal. I tell then, “I am extremely interested in a position at this place of business.” Priceless sum of words. By saying this, the manager will see that you are serious. I submit my application with 100% accurate information and as neat as possible. I wait exactly one week, then I call the place I applied. I ask to speak to the manager. I tell him/her, “ Hi, My name is (blank). I submitted my application for employment last week. I want to tell you again that I am still extremely interested in the position I applied for.” This will tell the employer, also remind him/her, that you are serious. Practice you speech before you talk with them. Make sure you sound professional. If you have to, record yourself. These steps work efficiently. They never failed me.
A resume makes you look professional and serious. Most employers look for that. You can simply staple a copy of your resume to the back of the application. When the employer looks at it. He will see it and think, “Hey, this is something different. I never seen this before.” Most people do not have resumes. Follow my guidelines, and create you own resume. You do not have to be unemployed anymore. Here is a example of how a resume should look:
