Tips on Improving Grammar When Studying a Foreign Language

Firstly, make sure that you learn the alphabets of the language that you wish to learn. Then, try to find a tutor who can teach you that language in an understandable manner. When you are at home spend your time reading books (loud reading) and try to browse the dictionary to improve your vocabulary. Make sure you practise writing a piece of written material everyday. From this written material, pick out the words you feel that are difficult either to pronounce or write. Now, find the correct pronunciation of this word and then practise  writing that word  out  10 times.  Wite a new material daily, try to talk to your friends with the language you are learning. Always ask for advise from your friends and tutors if you have difficulty in something. Make your tutor to give you  worksheets  to improve upon that language. Now, make 5-8 copies of this and practise it till you get full correct. Also try to browse the Internet to find new words that on-line people use. A person good in a language will always write full answers to the questions that are asked. When a question is asked repeat the question till it is required and then use the correct usage of grammar to write it well. After you learn the language buy books on grammar and improve upon your grammar. If you don’t know a spelling or pronunciation, don’t try to guess it out. Always ask your friends, tutors or someone else for the correct word.
