The Greek Alphabet

The Greek Alphabet for those students who are learning Greeks.

This is the whole Greek alphabet.

There are 24 lettres in the Greek alphabet and it has been used since the 8. Century BC.

Some of these symbols have changed in the last centuries, but the most of them are still the same. (otherwise it won’t be the Greek alphabet anymore)

This language is completely different as other languages and it is really difficult. The only way to learn the Greek language is to simply learn this alphabet and then learn the words by using them.

Β,β = bèta
Γ,γ = gamma
Δ,δ = delta
Ε,ε = epsilon
Ζ,ζ = dzèta
Η,η = èta
Θ,θ = thèta
Ι ,ι = iota
Κ ,κ = kappa
Λ ,λ = labda
Μ,μ = mu
Ν,ν = nu
Ξ,ξ = ksi
Ο,ο = omikron
Π,π = pi
Ρ,ρ = rho
Σ,σ/ς = sigma
Τ,τ = tau
Υ,υ = upsilon
Φ,φ = phi
Χ,χ = chi
Ψ,ψ = psi
